The BETA AIR JSC was established in 1991, to support the project of development of the Be-200 multipurpose aircraft.

The BETA AIR's activities vary from coordination of the Be-200 deliveries to the EMERCOM of Russia to development of the Be-200 after-sales support system, which includes spare parts deliveries, flight and maintenance personnel training, establishment of maintenance, repair and overhaul centers, and technical support.

Nowadays, BETA AIR also develops up-to-date aircraft equipment.
