Main / .. / Prospective Programmes / Multipurpose Unmanned Aerial System
The Irkut Corporation has developed a family of airborne systems for remote sensing of the Earth's surface. These are based on unmanned and optionally piloted aerial vehicles, including the Irkut-2M, the Irkut-10, the Irkut-200, the Irkut-850 and the A-002М. Varying in component packages and the array of missions assigned to them, the remote sensing systems are general-purpose flying vehicles with onboard observation equipment and land-based devices for data control, reception and processing. Users of the systems can perform a wide range of missions varying from high resolution surveillance and monitoring of emergencies, to search, detection and determination of objectsЃf whereabouts and payload delivery. One of the key merits of the systems is the possibility of using various payloads depending on the mission to be performed as well as their low operating and maintenance cost. In addition the systems are very self-sufficient due to the minimal need for aerodrome facilities. Each airborne system is an efficient means of information support in handling disturbances in public order, natural environment and industrial production. The airborne systems are particularly effective in joint operations with land-based equipment and piloted vehicles, for instance, with the Be-200 amphibious plane.
IRKUT-2M Aerial Remote Sensing System series manufacturing is started |
While performing monitoring of the Earth's surface in adverse weather conditions, the IRKUT-2M system implements gathering of the TV and foto imagery in the real-time mode, processing of imagery obtained from payload sensors, and determination of coordinates of ground targets designated by operator. This system comprises two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), a ground control station, and maintenance and support equipment. Details...
IRKUT-10 Aerial Remote Sensing System series manufacturing is started |
While performing round-the-clock monitoring of the Earth's surface in adverse weather conditions, the IRKUT-10 system implements gathering of the photo, TV and IR imagery in the real-time mode, processing of imagery obtained from payload sensors, and determination of coordinates of ground targets designated by operator. This system comprises two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), a ground control station, and maintenance and support equipment. Details...
IRKUT-200 Aerial Remote Sensing System R&D |
While performing round-the-clock monitoring of the Earth's surface, the IRKUT-200 system implements gathering of the TV/IR/radar imagery in the real-time mode, processing of imagery obtained from payload sensors, and determination of coordinates of ground targets designated by operator. The system can be also employed for delivery of lightweight cargos. The system comprises two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), a ground control station, and ground support equipment. Details...
IRKUT-850 Aerial Remote Sensing System series manufacturing is preparing |
While performing round-the-clock monitoring of the Earth's surface, the IRKUT-850 system implements gathering of the TV/IR/radar/3D imagery in the real-time mode, processing of imagery obtained from payload sensors, determination of coordinates of ground targets designated by operator. The system can be also employed for delivery of lightweight cargos. This system comprises two optionally piloted Stemme S10 motor gliders, a ground control station, and ground support equipment. Details...
Lightweight gyroplane IRKUT-002M series manufacturing is started |
The A-002M gyroplane is developed by the Lightweight Aviation Design Bureau of the IRKUT Corporation. Currently, flight tests are almost completed and series manufacturing is starting. A 3-seater A-002M performs short run (up to 30 m) take-off and land on unprepared limited-size ground pads. The overall dimensions of the folded gyroplane are 5,80m x 2,40m x 2,65m Details...
Balloon-based aerial surveillance system «IRKUT-1A» series manufacturing is started |
The balloon aerial surveillance system insures continuous terrain monitoring of the emergency zones (fires, calamities, etc.), as well as supports industrial and law-enforcement activities. The TV/IR imagery obtained from the optronic system is transmitted to the ground control station in the real-time mode through the data link at the distance up to 5 km. Details...
