Purpose

The balloon aerial surveillance system insures continuous terrain monitoring of the emergency zones (fires, calamities, etc.), as well as supports industrial and law-enforcement activities. The TV/IR imagery obtained from the optronic system is transmitted to the ground control station in the real-time mode through the data link at the distance up to 5 km.

The ground control station provides:
-  gathering, accumulation and integrated processing of the obtained imagery;
- simultaneous reception and representation of data from 4 balloon systems;
- digital data recording;
- download of data stream or selected data fragments via data link.

The system is accomodated in a 1.2-t freight container, carried by any transportation means.
