Main / Products and Services / Prospective Programmes / Multipurpose Unmanned Aerial System / IRKUT-200
While performing round-the-clock monitoring of the Earth’s surface, the IRKUT-200 system implements gathering of the TV/IR/radar imagery in the real-time mode, processing of imagery obtained from payload sensors, and determination of coordinates of ground targets designated by operator. The system can be also employed for delivery of lightweight cargos.
The system comprises two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), a ground control station, and ground support equipment.
While loitering for 12 hours, the UAV transmits acquired data to the ground control station at up to 200-km distance.
UAV’s take-off and landing is performed from/to any 250-m unpaved pad or road section, with no any special airfield support equipment required.
Built with the use of composite materials, the UAV features high durability and a relatively low weight. It can be rapidly assembled and disassembled without any special tooling required.
The major advantages of IRKUT-200 system are high level of operational autonomy due to minimal need for the airfield support facilities, as well as low operational and life-time costs.
